Mostarda

Mostarda is a uniquely Italian condiment made of preserved candied fruit and zesty mustard - and definitely not to be confused with the yellow stuff. A perfect combination of sweet and spicy, mostarda is typically served with cheese or salumi - or as an accompaniment to roasted or boiled meat. Since 1937, the Andrini family has been producing sensational authentic mostardas in a small village in the Po Plain and is now producing their very special recipe for the Manestrini family.
